Food for the Soul · Host application
Bring a meal drive to your community.
We provide chef-made meals. You bring the place and the people who know your neighborhood. Drives are free, open to everyone, and served first come, first served.
Open to everyone.
Food for the Soul meals are for anyone who comes. No one is turned away or treated differently because of race, color, religion or creed, national origin, ancestry, citizenship or immigration status, sex, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital or family status, military or veteran status, income, housing status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
Meals are served first come, first served, while supplies last.
What we look for
The same four criteria for every applicant.
We focus on communities where households are at risk of going without enough food. We don’t ask for, or consider, demographic information about your organization or the people you serve.
Community need
The drive serves households nearby who are at risk of going without enough food.
Open to all
Meals go to anyone who comes, first come, first served, with no eligibility checks or conditions.
A safe, reachable site
Permission to use the site, handwashing for volunteers, and a place people can reach.
Workable logistics
In Los Angeles or Orange County, at least 21 days out, with enough volunteers.
